SonarStep is designed to work with vehicles equipped with a 2 inch or 1 1/4 inch tow package. The system activates when the vehicle is engaged into reverse gear and the SonarStep starts to silently scan behind the vehicle. SonarStep's patented wireless Tow Hitch Parking Sensor System provides up to 7 feet of coverage behind your Truck, SUV, or Van, without the need for drilling holes or complicated wiring.

Using your existing 2" or 1 1/4" trailer hitch receiver and wiring, SonarStep automatically scans behind the vehicle when put in reverse, and alerts the driver inside the vehicle with a audible and visual indicator whenever a object is detected.
