To get a precise fit, please remember that you will need to have the:
- Make (e.g. Ford, GM, Volkswagen)
- Model (F150, Buick Lesabre, Golf) , and
- Year of your vehicle available, and
- Know whether your vehicle already has a factory rack or factory rails installed.
If you want to mount a rack on your vehicle's hitch, you should know the following, if possible:
- Size (1.25 inch or 2 inch)
- Rating (Class I, II, III, or IV)
Most of the time, these items can be found in your vehicle owner's manual or the aftermarket manuals that came with your hitch.
