Shipping Policy

We ship orders to destinations directly to all 50 United States and the official territories were UPS Ground service is available.  Note that we cannot ship to APO or FPO boxes.

International shipping is available via a partnership with Bongo International. See the Bongo Frequently Asked Questions for more information.

Shipping Rates and Methods

In order to make the complex process of buying outdoor gear, vehicle racks or accessories as simple as possible, we offer UPS shipping to addresses in the continental US. The price of heavier or oversize items may include an alternate shipping cost calculation for truck freight that is either explained on the product page or during checkout. During specific periods of time we may also offer free shipping on certain products.

Most orders are shipped by regular UPS ground service. We also can offer shipping options for Hawaii and Alaska delivery via custom quotation. These shipping options are not available during checkout.

When we ship an item via truck freight because of its weight, that item is delivered to the back of the truck. If you wish in-home delivery or additional services to move the product you buy into your home, it is normally quite simple to pay the carriers we use to provide additional help. We normally ship from a network of multiple warehouses in the US to minimize shipping time to the chosen destination. Following shipment, order delivery times vary from one to seven business days.

Our store items are normally shipped directly from the manufacturer or from a warehouse run by one of our national suppliers. We use this approach because we can offer the best prices and selection, along with the speediest delivery. In order to save time, we may ship your order from several locations to minimize the time it takes to deliver the items you need. Any additional shipping charges that are incurred in this manner are our responsibility.
 

Damage in Transit

Our products are packaged carefully in order prevent damage during shipping.  Please report any damage to the delivery person if possible, and via email to greatservice@racksforall.com as soon as possible.  If you have a digital camera and can send us pictures of the damage, please do.  Please hold the item and packaging for inspection and wait for additional instructions. 
 
If your order is shipping by Truck Freight please note the important instructions below.
  • If you receive a package that appears to be only slightly damaged, write "Package Damaged" when you sign for delivery. This provides documentation that helps us establish the shipper's responsibility.
  • If you receive a package that is more than slightly damaged, you should refuse delivery. The damaged package will be returned to us and we will replace it promptly. Please notify us promptly if you have refused shipment due to damage.
  • If you accepted a package from us and find that parts are missing or the product is damaged, please contact us right away and we will ship you the replacement parts at no charge. Please try to contact us within 48 hours so that we can seek resolution with our shipping companies. If we unable to promptly replace the parts you need, we will have the carrier pick up the package and send you a replacement. All returned products should be in the original packaging.
